Interracial Dating and Interracial Marriage - Traditional Family Values?

Yup. In my family, interracial dating, marriages and families is actually the norm.

Please understand, however, we have just as many of the hang ups and racial tensions and race biases as the next family - all of that is actually stored in the unconscious brain, so we are all working on it.

My late uncle was about as pale white as you can get. Irish fish-belly white as we call it. Sneeze in the sunlight and we get sunburned. Well, his first wife was Asian, and that gave me my two BEAUTIFUL cousins (ah, single and available btw, since I'm family, I get to pimp them. :D If you're interested, just ping me at my website. They'll die of embarrassment later.) Second wife, African American. My late husband? Part Native American.

And MAN, I live in Silicon Valley. We have so many ethnic groups you really have to TRY to date only your own race. And where's the fun in that, anyway. So, invariably I am becoming albeit not an EXPERT in interracial dating, but certainly comfortably competent in that area.

past beaus include:

mixed race middle eastern/italian. latino. mixed asian (multiple asian countries) indian.

Currently? African American.

To me, interracial dating IS highly erotically charged. Anything which accentuates the differences between the man and woman makes for MORE sexual chemistry. yawzha! and THAT is always fun, fun, fun.

Get out there. Post your profiles online and also keep on the look out for who you are meeting in person. keep a fresh perspective as you look around you.

Have fun!
